Hawai‘i Energy’s annual report captures key information needed to report to the PUC. However, this newly re-designed report was an opportunity to also make meaning with its data. The Annual Report presented an opportunity to do some big picture storytelling of non-tangible aspects of Hawaii Energy’s work; and capture some storytelling with the data to convey energy efficiency’s value and why it matters. This annual report connected Hawaii Energy’s work back to people, conveying impact. To tackle this report with the intentions we had set required deep understanding of energy and its key concepts, issues and challenges.
